Our wonderful team entered the St. Louis 48-Hour Film Project in 2015 – and we won! Our film Whisper went on to be an official selection in the St. Louis International Film Festival, and will also screen at Filmapalooza in Los Angeles next year.
The 48-Hour Film Project is quite a competition. We had 48 hours (from 7pm on Friday to 7pm on Sunday) to write, shoot, edit, score, and deliver a 7-minute film. To make it even tougher, they give you certain criteria you must use in the film. This year, we had to include:
Genre: Film De Femme (in other words, we had to include a strong female lead)
Character: Wendy Poe, unpublished author
Prop: A French baguette (look closely for this one)
Line of Dialogue: “That has to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.”
We’re proud to have competed with so many talented St. Louis Filmmakers.
